Last Day of 2009

This is a tough year for MR, and as you all know, lots of stuff happened throughout this past year and I know everyone is sort of affected by it, one way or another.
But life is always full of ups and downs. So if we can be there for each other during the peak, I don't see why we can't be around when we are at the lowest point too. But anyway I really hope the worse is over and we can continue to move on.
Today is the last day of 2009, so treasurer wants to start the new year with a bang! haha
TIME TO COLLECT MONEY!
I would like to collect $20 per person and pls tell me your T-shirt sizes as well. Cos we are so going to make the MR t-shirt out. Pls Pls support this poor chap over here.
I'll go post up the design (or maybe xia can do it) then let's just do it. Don't hesitate or else nothing will come out in the end.

Attempt for MR Revival
Seeing this 'abit' pathetic situation, i decided to take the very intiative to salvage this MR blog. Ever since our event co-ordinator tried so hard to keep everything going, i think we disappointed her abit. So i intend to shoulder this responsiblity while giving her enough time to recuperate for a great comeback. Scroll down, look on your left, and you'll know what' is left of this year, after all our birthday's are spent.
Meanwhile, let me share with all my fellow MR peeps my intention to end this year with a BANG with MR. I can't help it but realised the very importance of MR, finally. It's always late than never. Late because i wasn't there when MR was at its peak. I still habour the hopes, just like the same as some of the other MR members, that we are able to get MR to where it once peak at.
December is a month most have been looking forward. Strings of activities attached.
- 7 Dec - Johore [It's high time we venture out of this little island. Shopping, eating and crapping. The last time we went is merely the 4 of us - Xia, Kel, ZQ, Peng. Let's make this a huge one yet again]
- 9 Dec - Zouk [When is the last time we even step into ZOUK altogether? Not that i know or can recall. It's a nice feeling to be able to get wild and party together, moreover, age is catching up with some of us, therefore, we better enjoy while we still could]
- 25 Dec - Xmas [A tradition i know all of you has been holding since ages ago. Let's continue this once again with special present exchange this year. However, i need the precise attendance in order to organise everything. Unfortunately, i can't get the 'go ahead' to hold it at my house this year, so i'm sorry. I'll advise on the dates again]
- 27 Dec - Spanish Food [I have mentioned to some of you before. It's such a nice cuisine and probably only one of the very few European food i eat, reservation needed and trust me, all of you will love it]
- 31 Dec - Countdown [I promised everyone, i will be there, be it post or pre. Venue to be confirmed but no matter what, it just feels great to be able to countdown with everyone in MR]

Our dear mil mil turns 23 and it's also about time for all the students-going-back-to-school-soon to have a finale chillax session before mugging resumes and everyone chiong for their GPA 5! So be sure to make it on this auspicious day and we can even countdown to National day just for the sake of it because we are always capable of anything and everything random.

- Yilin KIV, Mild and Mel can't make it.
- Meet at 10a m Kranji MRT
- Prog: Dimsum, Holiday Plaza, Lunch (Paperwrapped Chicken) , Jusco,
Dinner (Seafood), City Square.
- Most transport by Cab.
- Expect to end at 8-9pm
2) July Birthday Meetup (Together with questionnaire)
Because we have 5 july babies, it totally deserves a meetup.
- Proposing Yaolong's house or Peng's house ( 11th July Saturday evening till late)
I think we have decided not to get presents anymore due to coordination problems. We will just have a nice meal and enjoy each other's accompany :)
if you will like to get gifts as an individual, feel free to do so still :)
3) The Ultimate MR Questionnaire Showdown
- Proposing to have it together with the celebration
- It's the 72 questions questionnaire faceoff time.

Do you guys think its about time I started collecting monthly mixedrice fund from everyone?? I calculated if everyone pays $2 per month, by end of 1 year we will have $216, enough to rent a end of year chalet. Or 10 years down the road, we will have $2160 and we will be rich! haha.
Just a thought. Otherwise our mixedrice fund will forever only be enough for us to eat mixedrice.

- Goodie Bag will only be given out upon production of the Goodie Bag Ticket, so please remember to bring the ticket.
- Pack lightly as you will be carrying your shoes and your own bag.
